Remedial Massage
Remedial massage involves the assessment, analysis and treatment of dysfunctional muscles or soft tissue in the body.
To assess and use appropriate massage techniques to be able to assist individuals in their recovery, promote health, help maintain mobility and over time, support function and ability to perform all of the things that you love.
Working collaboratively with you is an integral part of the treatment journey. With use of specific testing of movement and function, we create a treatment plan to match your desired outcomes.
Initial consultation: $190 - 1.5hours
Follow up consultations: $120-1 hour / $180- 1.5hours
Sports Massage
Sports Massage is a range of treatments suitable for everyone from the general public through to the elite athlete.
Sports massage is useful for anyone who exercises to increase flexibility, prevent injuries and help with healing after a sports injury.
Sports massage is specifically tailored to different sports and sporting injuries. It works by releasing tension in tightened muscles, stimulating inactive muscles and improving the condition of the soft tissue
The aim of sports massage is to reduce the stress and tension that can build up in the soft tissues of the body during exercise in order to increase endurance, improve performance, reduce the chance of injury and reduce recovery time after an injury.
Initial consultation: $190 - 1.5hours
Follow up consultations: $120-1 hour / $180- 1.5hours
Therapeutic Swedish Massage
Therapeutic Swedish massage can help you relax, give you more energy, and may help after an injury.
It can also be used to help with physical conditions and has been shown to help relieve pain, stress and muscle tension.
It involves long, kneading strokes combined with rhythmic tapping strokes and movement of the joints.
This type of massage targets the uppermost layer of muscles and aims to relieve muscle tension while you take the time out that your mind and body need.
1 hour Therapeutic Swedish Massage: $120-1 hour / $180- 1.5hours
